1798 S-159 R3 Style I Hair, Small 8 VG7. Sharpness F12 but covered with very fine roughness under a slightly glossy greenish olive and chocolate brown patina. A light rim bruise opposite the chin is the only sign of contact. EDS, Breen state I. The vertical die cracks in the field behind the portrait are light and there is no branch crack to the L in LIBERTY. Graded net VG8 by Del Bland. Estimated Value $100-UP. Ex R. S.
