1 Cent    (sold for $80.0)

1800 S-202 R4+ G5. Sharpness VF20 but covered with uniform light to moderate roughness under slightly glossy dark olive brown toning. No verdigris, and the only mark of any significance is a short dig in the field before the neck. MDS, Breen state II late. The die failure on the obverse is strong and swelling nearly obliterates STATES. Otherwise the date and legends are complete and clear. Looks better than the net grade might imply. Estimated Value $150-UP. Categories: Draped Bust Cents
