Obverse: Female laureated and togate personification of the Swiss Confederation, holding Swiss flang and olive branch. A shooter holding a crossbow and an armoured foot soldier, holding sword and axe, both leaning on shields.
Legend: ENTREE DE FRIBOURG & SOLEURE DANS LA CONFEDERATION SUISSE " 1481
Tranlsated: "Entry of Fribourg and Solothurn into the Swiss Confederation " 1481"

Reverse: Swiss cross within ray of lights above arms of Bern infront of crossed rifles and wreath. Denomination (5 Fr.) below.
