“Draped Bust” era il nome dato a un disegno di monete degli Stati Uniti. Apparve su gran parte delle monete regolari in rame e argento degli Stati Uniti dal 1795 al 1808. I tagli che presentavano il disegno del busto drappeggiato includevano il mezzo centesimo.
Tutte le monete (rame e argento) portavano lo stesso dritto. Robert Scot, capo incisore della zecca degli Stati Uniti dal 1793 al 1829, trasformò il ritratto di una signora dell’alta società di Gilbert Stuart in una signora Liberty piuttosto formosa. Alcuni resoconti identificano la donna come la socialite di Filadelfia Ann Willing Bingham. Rimase sostanzialmente invariata per diversi anni, con l’eccezione di un ricciolo extra aggiunto ai suoi fluenti riccioli nel 1798.
