1857 C-1 R2. PCGS graded MS-62 Red & Brown. Frosty mint red fading to olive and steel brown, more than half the bright mint color remaining. Most of the toning is in the form of tiny specks and there are traces of an old fingerprint at stars 5-7. A couple microscopic specks of carbon can be found at HA in HALF. MDS. Our grade is consistent with the slab grade. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; the only example graded at PCGS for the variety. Estimated Value $300-UP.
